I'm getting married!!

People, I'm here to announce that I'll be getting married next year with my long-term girlfriend Dorothy Lim.

I've proposed to her. She agreed and both our families are very happy about it.

It's quite sudden and shocking I know but I think it's about time for me to settle down.

I've thought this through and I think that I decided that I have had enough time alone and I'm ready to spend the rest of my life with this special someone.

I would like to invite everyone to come and gather and have a drink and meet my special someone if possible.

Truth to be told, these are all made up stories and false statements and I am still single.

I just went through old albums and saw everyone's faces which were once so familiar to me. I have not seen some of you for quite some time and I'm sure you guys have changed. I can't wait til the end of the year to see you guys again.

Now that some of youse are working already, I'm sure a couple of years down the road, the news of someone amongst us getting engaged and married will come true in reality. Things will be totally different I guess.

Hence, we should come up with something again this CNY so that everyone can gather around, catch up and have a good laugh. What do you guys think?

Seafood Dinner & Gathering

Haloo~~~ This is my first post over here, so if got any mistakes don't blame me har~ XD

Ok~ Straight to the topic. Since the day we left, we had barbecue, steamboat, buffet etc, so this time, I have an idea which prompted out when I was on my way back to SP and passed by Autocity. YES! Seafood!

(Let me show off awhile) In KL, we used to have seafood dinner with friends over there as there are a lot of seafood restaurant. The seafood restaurant I meant is exclusively provide seafood compare to other ordinary restaurant that targeted more variety of chinese cuisine. So, since we haven't make any this kind of seafood, thus I suggested that MAYBE (as is still a suggestion) we can have a seafood dinner lo...

Well, I got no idea which place can provide nice seafoods coz I seldom (almost none) have ate any seafoods in SP. I think a lot of you all might went before, so maybe you guys can give some suggestions lo~ Hmm... So far I know only the one beside Autocity and another one is the famous Tambun. However, those 2 places are quite far from us, so I suggest that we could find a place somewhere around SP lo.

Anyway, this is just my suggestion. About the time and date still not sure yet. However, I think it would be nice if it is on CNY day 3 or 4 or 5 lo and probably would be dinner. Don't forget one of the day we might having our "angpao" trip too... Oh yeah, it can be the same day too!!

That's all what I want to propose. So guys, give your suggestion. And of course, this isn't the final decision which we will be having seafood dinner. You guys can suggest anything else too...

Feel so sien this morning .. mood isn't so good. So here i am to report recently improvements in IbrahimKaki.

IbrahimKaki's traffic has been sluggish since February. With only 20 visitors as the mean and 30 visitors as the mod.

However.. Back in February there was once when IbrahimKaki's traffic hit a monstrous 107 visitors per day - it was 6th February 2008.

Well, I'm still tracing how does that great peak come to reality.

Everybody I know who has a dog usually calls him "Rover" or "Boy." I call mine "Sex."

Now, Sex has been very embarrassing to me. When I went to the City Hall to renew his dog license, I told the clerk thatI would like a license for Sex. He said, "I'd like to have one too." Then I said, "You don't understand. I've had Sex since I was nine years old." He said, "You must have been quite a kid!"

When I got married and went on my honeymoon, I took the dog with me. I told the hotel clerk that I wanted a room for my wife and me, and a special roomfor Sex. He said, "Every room in the place is for sex." I said, "You don'tunderstand. Sex keeps me awake at night." The clerk said, "Me too."

One day I entered Sex in a contest, but before the competition began, the dog ran away. Another contestant asked me why I was just looking around. I told him I had planned to have Sex in the contest. Okay I saw there is a little discussion in the chat box so I decide to write my opinion of putting advertisement on this blog.

Pros
We can earn money by just visiting this website and actually spend our own money on gatherings.
Okay, actually it is great that we have a small community here and so there is frequent clicks everyday on this website.
So with just a few clicks everyday, we can earn this money and spend on gatherings.
As we all now are in different states, continents we come home to SP and have lots
I MEAN LOTS OF GATHERINGS, if you don't really agree with me, just look at the number of photos we have just on birthday parties, you will know the AMOUNT of money we spend on food and gatherings.

Good what, now got one more reason for NOT rejecting gatherings RIGHT?

Cons
Yealar you all say spend on gatherings, NOT like I attend all the gatherings one, WHAT IF those money are spend on certain gatherings, and I never even bother to attend, then WILL it be fair for ME HUH, huh huh???
Okay, so this is the problem. Some may say this is not fair, because different gatherings have different people attending at different times. [I hope you get what I mean], the money will be spend unequally.

So I suggest maybe the money, IF there is the ads, is used on major gatherings where most of the Ibrahimkakis are here.
Not like ohhh today I bring 3 friends to yamcha then it is consider as a gathering, and I can use the money.

The friendship is a priceless issue, there shouldn't be any money involve, and you are making Ibrahimkaki a money driven blog!

Ohh, I don't know about this, but I still need to ask for money from my dad even though our relationship is also priceless.*shrugs*

Every cents earned will be used on gatherings with more than 20 IbrahimKakis. This in turn encourage Ibrahimkakis to attend gatherings.
No dividing of earnings. This is to prevent us from gaduh with each other just because of some fifty cents worth of share.
Earnings will be announced here every week.

I miss singing in choir with you guys man. Everytime i start to sing/hum, I will think of choir.
And then when I finish singing, it always end up raining.
Then all of a sudden, it reminds me of 'rainy days, puddles everywhere..lalala'.
And that is when I thought of Canon in D.
And when I thought of Canon in D, it reminds me of Vienna Boys Choir.
And when I thought of Vienna Boys Choir, I thought of the practices we had in Bilik Kuliah.
And when I thought of Bilik Kuliah, it reminds me of our state song 'Allah Selamat Sultan'.

Ok fine, it IS another birthday post.
And I know all of you are complaining about the lack of post in Ibrahimkaki, but I guess we all are quite busy at the moment, so bare it for a while, this will be another boring birthday post again.

So as you all know 3rd of May was her birthday, so we went to Huang Chao near Sejati for the celebration.

It was quite a nice environment, but as you can see, the only thing I don't like about this place, it is pitch dark.

Actually, I really don't know why the Valentine's day is called "Valentine" and the true story behind it. All i know is just a special day for lovers to celebrate their meaningful relationship. Now, I finally find it out and know the story of Valentine.....

Lovers around the world can thank a Roman priest for our celebration of love on February 14.

During the mid 200's Emperor Claudius II of Rome banned marriages or engagements due to the difficulty of enlisting soldiers in the military. Valentine, a Christian priest, secretly married couples despite the emperor's decree. Eventually, Valentine was imprisoned and put to death on February 14, 270. As history unfolded and the Christian Church gained more power in Rome, the priests began to eliminate pagan festivals. Lupercalia, an ancient Roman festival celebrating fertility was replaced by honoring St. Valentine's Day.

It was 24th December 2007 .. 3 p.m. ..

I received a message from Sze Chee : " Why not ask our friends to come my house and we have a gathering ?? "

I replied : "Oh yes !! Baby !!! "

And so.... I started spamming sms to our friends in Sungai Petani .. All those from colleges , form 6 , matriculation as well as those enjoying their long break at home like Samuel ~~ =="

I gotta admit it... It's pretty tough getting everyone together in such a short time as i have only 5 hours to get them all in Sze Chee's house together !! Holy MaMa ! ( Sms-es costs me RM 10 )

Luckily , response from our friends are beyond my expectation ... Even "she" turns up ... LOL ~

And so .... we heated up the grill and start to have a small BBQ : the las batch of meat taste like hell ... maybe the meat wasn't really fresh .. i can hardly taste chicken !!

Then we chat....

And we have karaokay ... ( anyone recorded Wen Feng's singing ?? )
